This is on East 86th Street - UES as it's referred to today - and the woman we witnessed on the steps did not look like she's planning a move anytime in the near future. I couldn't bear a picture with her in it.

Now this depicts life. Good work.

Doug and Rod, thanks. The problem with this is that the eye wanders around looking for something that probably isn't there.

The composition is so well controlled here to make sense of this mess, great work meluv.

Such a busy image, had my eyes looking around for quite some time. This picture tells several stories.

Thanks for the comments. Seymour, East 86th has changed a bit in the last twenty years - the neighborhood is still filled with pre-war buildings although most of the apartments I've seen (including the one I lived in for awhile) are not big. Etna, to me this IS life. Lots of things planned. Many changes to be made. And colorful tools to help. McSaba, yes this is a woman's work - you are right. Although she was probably not fit to do it herself.

What a "vitality" here...my first thought was that this belongs to a woman, planning a major interior redesign, before reading your description.

Maybe life is behind the windows! We hope to see the woman here. ;) Very nice colors and textures Penny.
