Oops. I just checked the EXIF. The lens used for this was actually the 24-105L. Sorry for the mix-up.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Firstly, I assure you that I am not Konstantin! My name is Ramesh. As to the lens, this is the 70-200 F4 L IS. It is tack sharp and the only times it has disappointed were when I mishandled the shot! I used LR3 beta for processing, and credit it for the greatly improved RAW processing.

Great detail and light in this touching image. Nice work!

I would actually like to know what lens this was. The detail is fabulous - as well as the processing.
Konstantin also travels to Thailand and has some wonderful monkey shots so sundance and he should meet up sometime!!

He he, the camera and lens might be the same as used by Konstantin Penny, but I see no resemblance to his body of work here. Don't mean to put down K, but he could learn a lot from the careful restraint showing in the excellent PP done here- this is top notch stuff and goes beyond just having a good setting to capture.

The chosen tones really bring up the texture nicely here, the detail is wonderful. Sweet expressions on your subjects too.
Excellent image, glad you were able to join us in time for this challenge sunhorse :-)
