Superb capture by a good eye! There's a lot of "mood" in this shot, I think it's the toning and contrast work that convey this so well.

Hi Totiman. Good capture!!! I believe that the same photo flip horizontally remains better from the point of view of composition. In the drop box I leave a sample of the photo him.

These looked so much like cormorants around here I had to look them up. The English name for this variety, Cormorán Biguá, is Neotropic Cormorant. I really like the composition of this Toti with the leading lines, the different layers, and the toning. Well seen, shot, and processed!

What a shot Mr. Toti!. Y like the contrasted and sharp foregroung comparing to the distant and blured coast. And different from Effy, you know how to portrait birds!. Daniel.

Lovely. The tones work well here. Like the focus of the entire shot, well done.

Terrific tones and atmospheric perspective. The bg could have been a good panorama all by itself but integrated into this layered composition is masterful.

Thanks for the comments. The birds are a kind of duck called "biguá". The photo was taken in lagoon of Chascomus. A small city near to Buenos Aires.

They look like Cormorants to me, too, jp.
Nice find, Toti, and well-taken.

Very nicely done Toti, I'm wondering what those birds are too. They seem very social whatever they are.
