Thanks Franky. The kids had been playing bare foot for an hour so no doubt the feet are dirty. In my opinion that makes the pic even more interesting :-). Since this is so apparent i renamed it "Dirty little feet". Thanks for the idea!

Ha ha, such a cute image Ivan! :-) Great job with the shallow focus and I can definitely see a color tone in your processing. I bet they didn't remain this still after eating all that sugary cake ;-) Very nice work.

Thanks Brent for the feedback. Aperture actually has duotone features (color monochrome and monochrome mixer) that are very easy to use and give you a lot of flexibility). You are right about the sugar, this was a unique moment of calm and order within an hour and a half of total crazyness fueled by heavy sugar content. Glad this happens only once a year :-)

Wonderful catch! Though the toning actually makes me think they should wash their feet ... ;-)
